hi everyone!! I have the BR-1600 by boss.....i have come up with the funkiest music ever lol!! BUT the drums on the BR-1600 are wack!! SO!....i made a beat on fruity loops...saved it to my computer...burned it to a cd which plays in cd players, dvd players, etc...BUT when i put it in my br 1600 the screen says cd error!! OK...i tried everything...THEN i plugged the usb to go that route...and guess what? NOTHING HAPPENED!! i am stuck!! QUESTION IS: how do i get outside beats (files) to a track in my BR 1600 so i can add instruments and thus making funk music history? anyone know? please im desperate lol

OMG I can answer this!!!! I do the same thing... but with Reaper. I do my drum and bass on Reaper and render it to a WAV file to import on the 1600.

In the Roland 1600 manual it specifies the configuration of the WAVE file... it has to be 16 bit, 44100 sample rate and only use 8 LETTERS in the filename of the .wav file. I don't use spaces in that .wav filename either...it's really picky about the details on the .wav but if I follow the rules it works great! Good Luck
