I record with a Korg D16 box. But, I recently upgraded my computer and was wondering what to do with the old one. I don't want to use the new computer for recording. However, just for the grins of it, I wanted to know what kind of software I could get to mess around with recording utilizing the older computer. What multitrack audio programs were people using say five years ago when my pentium 133 was new. More than 8 tracks preferred. The computer has two 2.1 gig drives and a soundblaster 64. 64 meg ram. Any ideas where to purchase used software?

PS. The machine already has Voyetra Digital Orch Plus on it, but I never have used it, and I think it will only record one track at a time.

Thanks

I just upgraded from a 166 and i used cakewalk homestudio 9 and it worked okay.... only eight tracks but with that processor and the small hd's i wouldn't expect pro-tools...go for it the HS9 is 80/90 bucks
