I have this old late 70's maybe eary 80's Allen and Heath 2421 mixer I can't find any information about it. I am interested in using the channels as preamps for my tascam. I only need one or maybe 2 at a time. Anyway, I cleaned out the thingand now..............I can only make use of the "gain" function if I go out from the insert point. I can't get anything from the main left, right, or mono out. What is the proper routing for my purpose? It was kind of beat up but when I opened it up there was no corrosion or broken connections or anything, just real dusty. It's real basic (I think) no group assigns or anything. The only terminology I'm not sure of is the"PFL" wich I believe stands for pre fade listen. How do I make this thing work?????????
