Two for $99 at Guitar Center. Is this a good deal?

Man! Am I lazy, or what. I didn't even scroll down 3 or 4 threads to see Rimshot's thread on the 319's.

Well, anyway, is it a good deal? Do you like them, Rimshot?

I've been using a couple of SM58's which which are fine, but I'd like to have a couple of good condensers for recording vocals and acoustic guitar.

mk319---> 1 for 50, 2 for 100

... yep, it's a good deal, and you don't have to buy two, they sold me one for $49.99. you should definitely have them bring you a few to go through and try out to make sure you get a good one (qc can be a factor with oktava). for the money, if you get a good one, you'll end up with a descent sounding ldc mic, that i'm sure most people can find a use for. if you're looking for a great ldc as your main mic for vocals and maybe acoustic instruments, you might want to save up and get something else. 50 bucks, as cheap as that is, is still 50 bucks wasted if you end up not using the mic.
peace - jv
