Ok I Just Installed My .......m-audiophile 2496......on My Computer......dammm It Lookes To Complicated Lol......im A Beginner.....i Want To Know What Kind Of Speakers Do I Need For That Sound Card......and How Do I Connect My Mixer With Phontom Powe On To My Sound Card And My Mic And Ect...... I Have I Think Everything I Need I Just Need The Speakers And The Software That Im A Get Cool Edit Pro......sooo Ya...

Can Anyone Help Please Thank You Very Much Everyone..

your gonna need some "near-field" monitors..while you can get away with using your computers speakers..its not recommended as they will produce too much hype or wont allow you to hear things you should be hearing.
The Wharfedale 8.2's are highly recommended around here and are around 300 a pair.
As for phantom power...you DO NOT..i repeat...YOU DO NOT..want phantom power on unless you are using a condenser mic that needs it.
To connect from your mixer to your soundcard...your mixer has to have "outs" or "inserts" for each channel..they will plug into the corresponding channel on your audiophile..example..mixers ch.1's "out" goes to ch.1's "in" on your audiophile.(this is just one way out of many)
Then in windows control panel under "sounds"..you must make sure you have your audiophile in the 2 boxes rather than your stock soundcard.
Then ya just set up the "in's" and "out's" correctly in your software.."cool edit..cubase..ect.."
 
I don't think Bush's "No Child Left Behind" is working :(
