Ok, where the heck did these user presets go?

I put this in Neubies' cause '..sometimes you feel like a nut...' ..

Where the heck do these 'user presets get saved to? And why can't I even find them in a file search?

I had to back up some user presets to do an upgrade.
So I never noticed this before, but the two places on a plug – the upper left text box above the main GUI, and the file' system on the plug GUI.. I guess I presumed were 'parallel methods, but apparently are not at all?
At first I thought it was just this Aether verb that I'm reloading, but tried the same test on a Sonitus plug; Saved a preset in the upper one (out side the main GUI), do a file search, none found.

An update, a clue (but not an answer. Got the verb presets sorted out ok by going back to the source projects where they live and copied from the one box proper like to the Aether's file tool. Update > new verb, cool'.

Along the way there was one where I had used a ' / ' in the name. That got spit back (as it should) 'illegal.
That hints to me these 'saves I had were not even file names? But 'search can also look for even text within a file right?
I'm just curious if anyone knows what's going on here?
