Alright, I have a mic, a mixer, pro tools free, and a computer. What else do I need to record into my computer? Please list anything and everything I will need. I really want to record some stuff!!! Thanks.......

assuming your computer has a soundcard, you have everything to get started....then, based on what you are looking to accomplish, you kinda feel that out....

Hook the outs of your mixer to the line in of your soundcard and go at it...if you can get the hang of protools, try N-Track at www.fasoft.com ....

what are the specs of your computer and what instruments and mics do you have and what kind of mixer?.....

You may want to consider headphones to listen to what you record and monitors to mix.
