Guitar User.
ok so i have enough good tracks down to make the CD!
now what kind of file should i make the music files that go on the CD?
i have them in wav files now but wave files are very big and i have 14 tracks to burn to a 700MB disk! what should i use as a audio format to make things fit?
MP3 shrinks the audio and the sound quality so that is out, OGG files are not all that common yet so what do i use? thanks guys, if you have a tip for a forum that is better suited then send me there otherwise please give me advise thanks :)

You need to simply burn the audio files to CD as an "audio CD". I suggest getting the disc mastered first so you know that your disc is going to:

1. Sound right compared to other CDs
2. Work in every CD player
3. Not suck

It's up to you though. Get EZ CD Creator or something like that.

Why are the files too big? Do you have more than 80 minutes worth of music?

If you have less than 80 minutes, you need to convert them to 44.1k 16 bit files. If you have more than 80 minutes of music, you need more than one CD. You might want to get this mastered by someon who knows what they are doing.
