OK, new problem with Ntrack. Need help.

I got it to record in mono now but it seems that the tracks are bleeding on to one another.

I'll import a WAV backing track file and record a lead part over it but can still here the backing track on the lead track. It's causing it to clip like hell.

How do I prevent this? Is there a setting I need to change?

I'm using an Audiophile 2496 soundcard.

make sure in N-Track preferences that you dont have "monitor mixer" selected as your input......
