oh yeah! another HS2002 glitch...

In addition to my other (much bigger) problem, sometimes when I start up Cakewalk it doesn't recognize my sound card. In the track where the sound card is normally listed (i.e., IN-Sound Max Stereo OUT-Sound Max...) there is an "A" and a wierd loop shape...

When I restart my computer, it's usually fixed.

P.S. I have a brand new Sony VAIO 1.6 Ghz pentium 4, 80 GB drive, etc.

i bet if you solve your first problem (drivers) you'll correct the second one you mention.

get newest Direct X drivers from microsoft
