Alright. We've had enough discussion of the positives of the different programs. I am looking for one least problematic, but yet great for overall recording.

The only programs I have problems with are Cubase, its just confusing, though when set up pretty nice. N-track is pretty awsome, but i have no clue how to start at certain points with markers (my stupidity maybe?).

Let me tell you, the least problematic and easiest recorder i've EVER used is Sound Recorder. This thing rocks, you just click record, stop, and play. Its beautiful.

I'm a die hard n-Track supporter, but man it sure does have its weaknesses. I guess its biggest weakness is that it crashes. I can't say when where or why...but a feature that works for one guy just fine will crash for the next guy. I've got it running very nice & stable for tracking, but I save a lot when I start adding plugins or doing anything out of the ordinary. Flavio is great when it comes to support though!

To cue to a certain location, just click the top of the track window. If you mean "start recording at a certain time", then you need to use the "punch in/out" feature.
