hey everyone. i just bought a digi002 rack. everything works great. (im waiting for a external HD and some ram though :P) Im experiancing a problem, whenever im listening back every about 5 seconds i get this Hiss come through, it sounds like a wave on a beach almost. its very annoying and i cant get rid of it. i notcied that i used to get it when iw as running B3 standalone as well..

anyone know how to get rid of this??

btw im running an Emachines 8605 with the 64bit processor 512 of ram

thanks alot guys!!

Sounds like the crap you get when using a demo version of software
Whats in your loop before getting to PC

nadda man

im goin guitar -> 002 rack -> laptop

very annoying ! could it be my shitty HD ?

i just ordered a new 250 gig firewire 7200 hd off ebay. right now im using the internal one on my laptop.

quarry. sounds to me like you have an impedence mismatch between
the guitar and the 002. ie..i dont think you should be plugging your guitar directly into the 002. unless it specifically says guitar input on the 002.
what you need to do is try this....
guitar>>>>direct box or something like a guitar fx box or emulator (eg..
vamp, jstation digitech rp 50) >>>>002 input.
in summary one shouldnt plug guitars into sound card devices unless there is a specific input that says guitar input.peace.

yes you can, you use the digi002's pre's and go in and use a plugin like amplitube...

you very well should be able to do that but thanks for the advice
