I might as well copy everyone else. I don't know if anyone has posted this one yet or not... There is a bunch great Christmas music. If this one isn't my favorite, it's on the short list.

I only know the first verse, so it's short and sweet... Er... well... anyway it's short...

A very traditional version of O Holy Night:

Niiiice...

Sweet, neo-folksy arrangement, interesting couple of changes to the chord structure. Very effective and pleasing vocal arrangment and tight execution!

Great listen, thanks a lot!!!

Very cool....
I especially like the warm tone of the guit....very cool...

did you sing all the vox tracks??
way cool harmony....

Merry Christmas man :D

thick vocals..

and high too!!

and very Christmas -y

I liked it!!

That was a very nice vocal arrangement. I like that Christmas song too.

Good job. Very Christmasy.

Very nice MMM......really nice harmonies. Is that your arrangement? The harmonies and vocals in general are excellent. It sounds like there's some kind of doubling or chorus on the vox and I think it could use a little less of that.
This is a great addition to my Homerec Christmas cd.

Thanks everyone.

The basic vocal arrangement is one I've heard a couple of times in the past... most recently on one of the South Park Christmas episodes believe it or not. I may have changed up a thing or two in the vox because I didn't remember everything. The chord change to a minor 7th in the coda is copied from another song of mine, which was copied from the Beatles, who probably copied it from Mozart.

The lead vocals are doubled throughout, but no chorus. The two other harmony parts are doubled as well. And that's me on all of them. For the high notes, I recommend the Gonad-Gripper 3000.

Triple nipple?

Merry Christmas everyone.

hey Trip, I didn't mean anything negative by the 'Triple nipple' comment! When I saw you put up a Christmas tune, I thought, "ah, triple nipple!" I then proceeded to laugh out loud for the next 10 -15 seconds... kinda like beevis and butthead, only with more smoke..

that made me laugh really, REALLY hard, but I would never admit it publicly

Hey Trip - SUPER job. I haven't ever heard any arrangement even close to this, so kudos...and you knew a lot more of the words than I would have without "cheating" on the internet (a notoriously unreliable source of spiritual lyrics :D).

Very cool,
chris

Hey Trip,
Nice stuff man, I like the vocal arrangement. .....nice Christmas listen!!

Thanks Chris, dtb, and G-Man.

Sam - I wasn't torked off at all. I laughed my butt off. I always seem to imply I'm pissed when I'm not. I guess I need to use more smily faces. Have a great holiday season.

firstly, i gotta admit that the triple nipple almost made me wet myself.

very nice harmonies triple guy! sounds like three of you. i do especially like the brief modal change in the end. i love that stuff, whoever is doing it, the beatles, mozart, tripple m. that's the first time i heard it on this song so it's yours in my book, and you're a genius for doing it!

My favorite Christmas tune,thanks TM!:)

I think this is the most emotional one of all, really makes you feel it.
I loved the harmony parts, just great!
The simple production was perfect.

I dig the ending,nice touch.

Really enjoyed it,thanks.

Happy holidays to you and your family,
Pete

very nice tripleM! Nice harmonies-thats a tough tune-when it gets up in the high notes....arrangement is nice-recording is fine--only thing that bugged me a bit was the doubled lead vocal track-I just don't like em in general-they never match up exactly-and you wind up with a chorusy sound..but anyway...I still like this...happy holiday :)

Very nicely done. And putting it in "F" is way up there. I certainly can't sing it that high!

If I was to play it in "F".... I'd probably play Am on the word appeared.... E7 on the word soul... followed by Am again on the word worth. But that's all I'd do different.

Nice sound on the guitar. Clean execution. Really well done.
