Hello all,
I have an ALESIS IO/2 which I am using with Cubase and I am finally getting my head around buffer size and that it needs to be higher for less powerful computers that can't handle too much data at once. I have mine set at 256 samples at the moment.
But in my ASIO control panel, I can also change the 'number of buffers' which is currently set at twelve. What is the optimum setting for this (XP, 3GB Ram, 7200 RPM, Dual Core Duo)
