Ntrack blues

Just loaded Ntrack CD with Darla24, Plll, 256mb and a Maxtor 13gb drive and I'm getting a message that my system won't support multiple tracks with effects active. Damn, what's it gonna take? This hard drive is just 5400 rpm. Am I going to have to bump it up?

Yes you should consider getting a 7200RPM hard drive. The difference is substantial.

You should be able to do several tracks with effects on that machine. What kind of buffer settings are you using? Are you using ASIO?

How many tracks and how many effects are you running?

I think I'm just running into a config glitch..I've only put dowm 4 tracks with reverb, comp, and some delay. I guess I'm going to have to read the directions!
