hey,

I am running Nuendo 2.5 (which is basically the same as Cubase SX) on a Windows XP laptop and use an Edirol FA-101 firewire interface.
sometimes I get an error message when trying to open a Nuendo project (project cannot be opened, try to save under new name bla bla bla..)
when I look in the error.log it always points to an error in ntdll.dll

when I disconnect my firewire interface I have no problem opening the project. When I save the project under a different name and try to reopen it with the Edirol connected it sometimes works, sometimes it gives me the same error.

can anyone help me with this?

thanks

That is a windows system file. It may be corrupted. If you do a google search for it there's plenty of info. You may need to either replace it or try a reinstall of XP over your current install.

As far as I know, there is no Nuendo 2.5.... (2.2 -> 3.0)

Is that a legit copy?? If so, call Steiberg support or register at their forums.
They'll help you out. Trust me, they have TONS of experience troubleshooting .dll errors!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D
