Hi Everyone!
I'm new here. I posted this in rec.music.makers.songwriting, and soundclick.com was the clear winner. I'm almost ready to get the first of 10 songs up and running on the internet. The question is where do I put them? I was leaning in favor of Nowhereradio.com which seems pretty good to me, but now soundclick also looks good. Maybe it would be better to go with both websites Nowhereradio and Soundclick.com? What do you say?
Thanks,
Phil

Welcome. I have never used Soundclick, but Waldo over at Nowhere radio has always been good to me. You have a question or a need you can email him and he will respond to your needs. MP3. com just sux. You post your music on there and it takes anywhere from 2 weeks to a month before anyone can access it.

Never used Nowhere...

MP3.com sucks. Too many big acts drowning out us indies.

I like Soundclick 'cause you can post multiple songs for free...also, I get listens there without advertising. I've had NO listens at MP3.com in the past couple months.

Stay away from Cornerband. Very disappointing there.

Off to Nowhereradio now to check it out...

Why not do ALL of them?

Why put your CDs in one basket?

Spread it around and catch more eyeballs.

Hi, I'm Archie aka/Musically Mr M and I'm new to this forum. My friends over at the Fender Forum steered me this way and I am glad they did. This site is great!

I'm a Soundclick user and I think Soundclick is great! (I use Nowehere Radio as well but I have far more success with Soundclick) SoundClick is *free* but there are some great promotional tools offered to you as well for a minimal amount of cash. These can really help steer traffic to your site. I get hits a Soundclick daily! It's absolutely the best. MP3.com. - that place is an absolute crock!

And now for my shameless plug:

Here the Ecclectic Sounds of Musically Mr M at:

www.soundclick.com/bands/2/musicallymrmmusic.htm

I've got 19 songs posted ranging from country to hard rock, blues, jazz and I'm featured on all instruments. (I've done a lot of studio in my time so I try not to pigeonhole myself with one genre of music.) Give a listen and tell me what you think. Later I'l give you the lowdown on *my* studio. You may not believe what's being used. I don't! lol

Glad to be here! One vote for SoundClick here! :)

Go with Nowhere....
I mean even if you aren't satisfied you will still be accepted,
PEERPRESSURE

I use both sites...

I also use IUMA and Songramp....

MP3.com is lame as hell.....spam city....

doesn't hurt to have your music on more than one site....ya know?
Take it easy man,
Joe
