greetings to all you masters of soundwaves!!

i'm tyring to understand how busses work.
i'm useing pro tools 002 and have 8 input sources which all work great. these go straight into tracks 1-8 in the software no prob!
now , how do i record on track #9 . i suspect i use busses to route ,, say input #1 to track #9 right? i don't understand the config. any help or guidence would be greatly apprieceated.
(i know my spellin sux)

Busses are for submixing channels or tracks together. What you are talking about is Routing.

You need to assign another channel in PT to one of the inputs on the card.
