Noticeable difference?

Right now i'm running everything thru my m-audio audiophile 2496. Would there be a difference if i used the Echo Mia MIDI instead? I see it has 1/4 inputs/outputs and right now i'm using rca inputs/outputs with the audiophile. I'm going out from the mixer outs into the soundcard so would the Echo Mia MIDI be better?

The MIA is balanced... +4dBu -- The 2496 is unbalanced, -10dBv.

If your mixer has balanced outputs (I'd hope it would) then balanced inputs would be ideal.
