Ok, I have my 12" PB now, as well as the 640mb RAM, and the 60gig HD, so, I need some kind of audio interface. I need to go through the Apple store just because I have a credit line there 
Here is their music creation section:

Any of those recommended? Also, what about some mics? SM57's a good way to start? One last question. I doubt the apple store has any good monitors, but, take a look:

btw, this will be just a small home recording thing, nothing too extravagent. So, I wouldnt need more than the 2 channels at a time some of those offer, but any input is appreciated
