some of you may already read posts about my new E-mu 1212m audio card.
I still can't get its midi interface to work with reason 3 (work ok with other soft, but not reason), maybe something's wrong with reason, but my M-audio midi 1x1 works fine with everything.
is it really 24-bit? because KONTAKT and BATTERY demos don't work on my system.
MIDI recording latency is still the same as it was without this card, maybe 5ms better.
(still i can do 2 first midi tracks at about 5ms, but than adding extra tracks audio jitter [i think thats the right word] comes in)
but i don't really wanna let it go because it has optical S/PDIF (great way to connect to my TRITON studio)
patchmix DSP is not confusing anymore, but using patchmix's effects in soft sequencer is very confusing to set-up.
should i keep it (if i'll know how to fix these problems), or what audio interface i can buy that is better than this one but not much more expensive (with optical S/PDIF in, or is there a card that has just S/PDIFs to add to any audio card)?
