Probably just a matter of style, but overall I think the mix too compressed. Needs more dynamics...
Could also use a "big haired" 80s screamer ?

thanks man, I think your analysis is spot on :)

I think you could loosen the compression band a bit as well. It sounds good, but a bit more dynamics would really go well. To me there are some high end areas that could be tamed, but I would wait to learn of others think that as well. I usually mix my stuff a bit darker so I can listen louder. Plus for some reason as I get older, I am more sensitive to high frequencies. Take the highs comment with caution.

Not my style of music, but the mix sounds pretty solid.

Thank You, And I think you're right about the highs. My ears are a bit down at 4k so im sure your right
and they need some taming ...Thank you for your thoughts !

It's a great song. I love the guitar parts - lots of variety and very engaging. The vocals flow perfectly with the guitars. BTW, I followed you on Soundcloud as well!

I finally had a listen LL. I agree this is a very good song. Just 2 tiny little nits, I think the vocal could be a touch louder and the snare is just a bit light sounding to me. I didn’t mind the compressed feel at all.
Really nice work.
