Not sure where to ask this??

Last night I used MusicMatch to burn a CD with my MP3 song files. I was going to upload these MP3 files from my CD onto the NowhereRadio website(my recording PC does not have internet access).

When I took the PC to my internet accessable PC and put the CD in the drive I see that the files on the CD are cda or CD Audio Track file types and not MP3s. Furthermore they each are only taking up 44 bytes of space.

I am guessing that I cannot use MMJB for the purposes I need and I can get around that by using Nero, but I am just curious. Where are the MP3 files that take up mucho megabytes of space?

Didn't know where to ask this so if I need to be redirected to another forum let me know.

Well when the file type comes up as .cda, that means you're accessing a red book formatted audio CD. You probably will need to get some sort of CD burning software to burn an mp3 disc, just make sure you are burning a data disc, not an audio one.
 
Yeah I got Nero which I will use. Music match was easy to use, but I am finding out that you can't use it to put MP3's on a CD.

You have to burn the mp3s onto the disk as you would any regular computer file.

Your musicmatch was converting to CDA, as you found out.
 
In Nero, when it asks what kind of dick you want to burn, select 'Data' instead of 'Audio'
