this is just killer......

the drum sound as usual is just killer......

the guitar work on this is stunning...i really like when you kick in the distortion...:)

i think im really gonna enjoy this instrumental phase you are going thru....

I think it sounds great for what you got going so far. There is a little repetitiveness to it in some areas. And the break with the gtr at 1:29..where the notes ring out, is out of tune. Also around towards the end, it starts getting a little sloppy with the timing.

All the sounds, sound great...good recording, etc. Nice riffs, good direction. It sounds like a very intense music bed, and not sure how something might go on top of it, but I am sure you've got plans. I like this kinda gtr fast/shuffle boogie woogie...or whatever you can call it. Like it alot. POD?

thought I heard a few timing things, but it was a serious listen.. great musician stuff/playing/recording!
 
Man, I always dig your stuff! This one has a bit, just a bit of Phish vibe, which I totally love. Like how the distortion guitar tone, too. Kinda wish it was a lil more up front tho. Good job

been listening to this for like 20 minutes man, cool stuff.

the drums are great.

all in all i like the Sunday stylings more...but this is very impressive.

....very very cool!!!! Damn fine guitar playing. You do go through phases dont you. I remember you did a couple of tunes like this about a year ago or so. .....I mentioned something in that post about the speedy guit playing being non conducive to heavy drinking.....(bad spin trip:D ) I like this stuff from you. Its also a really nice to hear stuff like this in this clinic.

jake-owa: Possibly boomy, the mix is a bit off, bass is too loud maybe that's it. Thanks for the listen.

mixmkr: The guitar goes out a bit there because I bent the neck a bit, it's in tune otherwise. Yep, timing goes off in places, the drums and most guitars will be redone this is a template. No pod this time, Randal RG75 / SM57. I'm not thrilled with the guitar sound, I need to get it cleaner and funkier sounding. Thanks for the feedback.

Holy Crap!

This is awesome......toward the end ya'll start to lose it but still..........this is killer for sure. I don't have anything to say except I want to play a sax over that fast vamp. :D
