Not newbie but newbie question on signatures.

What's up guys I have a newbie question concerning putting a link in my signature. How do I put a link at the bottom my posts to where you can just click on it and it sends you to the link? Would I put this in the signature part of my profile and how do I have it say something different than the link itself.
For example, instead of www.sdfdf.com say Link to band I'm working with. I used the search function and checked faq but didn't find what I was looking for. Thanks for the help.

Make it look something like this:

[url = the link] the words you are using as hypertext [/url]

Capitalize the word URL and you will have it. And remove the spaces.

there's a step by step walkthrough in the toolbar menu in Edit Signature. Just like when you're posting.
Click on the little globe with the chain link...just like the one above you when type

yeah, I think something is up with the server.
Brett has control over all that and I haven't had time to contact him yet (he's been pretty busy too).
