not compatible with audio format

Hi i just installed my audiophile 2496, and im running it in guitar tracks pro 3, but...the program will not give me any sound on playback or let me record, and says the drivers are incompatible with the audio format?! could someone please help me to fix this problem?

found an option in guitar tracks which says audio format-24 bit, and also lets you change it to 16bit, but the audiophile is obviously called the 2496 because it can do this audio format lmao so wth is goin on lol anyone got any suggestions?
