Noisy

Situation : Behringer mixer, inputs : 4 synths, 1 drumcomp, 2 mics.
--> monitors give disturbance (studio situation)

Anything I can do? Purchasing a noise-gate for example?

A gate on you studio monitors?
There shouldn't be that much noise to begin with. What's the problem? (The source of the noise?)

Exactly. Where is it coming from? Of course you've checked to make sure your cables are all working perfectly, and you've checked to make sure it isn't a grounding problem.

Always make sure you're gain-staging properly. I have found this a crucial skill, essential for recording. There is plenty of information on this technique, or you can start a new thread.
