Hey all-
Any recommendations on cleaning the volume slider electronics on this keyboard? I tried canned air, and I'm still hearing the static noise when I adjust the volume slider up and down. Is there something that works best to clean this type stuff?

You need contact cleaner spray. I forget the brand name of the one I have at home. I'll look tonight. It's for noisy pots, faders and jacks. Basically a cleaner-lubricant. If you have an radio/electronics supply store nearby, they probably have it.

I use CRC QD (Quick Drying) Electronics Cleaner. It is in an aerosol can, and you can get it (or something similar) at most automotive, electronics, or major retail stores. Often companies will add their brand name to CRC Products (Especially if youe get from the automotive industry). It has always worked for me, and I have never damaged a single product. But remember to ALWAYS read the label for Safety Precautions. And make sure the product has dried thoroughly, before powering back up (with QD they say 15 minutes, but I usually go for longer if possible).

Thanks guys. Maybe I should pop over to Radio Shack and take a look around.
