Hi,

Looking for a little help here. Only just recently I've begun to record tracks only to find that in the track view the entire area that usually has the wave form is just a solid color. The audio data is all there and everything sounds fine, but it's not possible to edit anything on the track since I can't properly home in on any given section.

I'd been using sonar 1.0 for a couple of years and never experienced this issue.

I also did a search here and as a result expanded the picture cache, but to no avail.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

I agree with you, this seems to be a picture cache issue. How high did you set the cache?

My suggestion is to just give it a little more time to redraw.

Thanks guys. I tried both of these solutions, and neither worked out.

Upon further exploration, these wave files inded seem to be drawn. It's just that the track view appears solid due to the fact that the waves look really tightly drawn. So tight that they appear solid when zoomed out to any reasonalble (normal) distance. If I zoom in to a huge degree, I can see that there is a minute distance between the signals.

Even weirder is that sometimes if I cut and paste into a pre-existing project the copied track will appear normally. But only sometimes.

I've looked to see if there's a defualt that I may have inadvertantly hit that might cause the files to be drawn this way, but I haven't found anything.

Any other ideas that I could try?
