Guinea Pig
Hi guys and gals,

Basically i have Cubase SE, and ive just installed it etc for my home set up. Ive attached everything up to it and set it all up to play, but i have no sound when playing MIDI. I have signal going in and out, and when i record, i can see thats its recorded on the screen, but i have no sound.

I know its probably something really dumb, thats why i dont want to play around with it for HOURS and then find out its something so simple, any ideas?

Cheers people,

Peace

Did you ever get this solved?

You only mentioned that there's no audio when using MIDI. Have you recorded any audio tracks like a guitar or bass? Do they play back normally? Have you checked to make sure that your computer's audio doesn't automatically mute itself when SE is active?

Yes, Audio is fine, and runs through my sound card via the monitor speakers. Midi however seems to run wherever it wants to, and currently i have it set to my Keyboard speakers. on Output in MIDI i have tried "Delta 1010LT" doesnt work, i have tried "Internal Speakers" doestn work... its currently on "Port2" which is my keyboard speakers.. any ideas?

Cheers mate
