No LIne in...

My friend doesnt have a line in jack on his laptop...and we want to put his beats on the computer without have the mic echoin when the beat plays cause we put the beat in the the mic jack...is it a better way to do it clear

You need to be more specific...
Where are the beats coming from ?
Is it a live recording with a mic ?
Is it pre recorded on a medium ?
Is it from a CD, digital recorder, cassette recorder ?
Perhaps a USB transfer will do
If its on a CD it would be a breeze
