I got a some pedals I don't want any more.
I could sell them here just off of honesty, but I think even more people would be interested if they had some kind of protection...the kind that ebay offers.
I have posted to this BBS consistantly, there isn't any "spam" in what I am doing. I didn't just show up to get rid of my pedals. I was already here.

I dont agree either with the no ebay idea. I regularly post things in here for a week before posting on ebay and ironically, it is usually people from this forum that end up purchasing my gear FROM ebay. For some reason, not a lot goes here unless it is the right timing for someone looking for something specific. When you set a price, that is the price. When people feel they may get it cheaper, then maybe they are more inclined to buy it although, I have had stuff sell on ebay for quite a bit more than what I posted it here for and sometimes less.

It doesn't matter if its listed on eBay or if I just listed x for sale. Its the same thing. It just happens to be on eBay too.
Its not people are trying to hock their VHS collection or their assortment of McDonalds toys.

I guess u didnt understand my point.
The point is if I wanted to purchase an item off of Ebay then I would merely go to ebay and do a search , etc..... This is to be an alternative outlet, not another place to advertise Ebay items.
but that is merely my Opinion.

But the issue here is the type of information not the integrity of the seller/buyer.

Heres the deal, and why its just spamming if you put it on ebay and then post it here.
1st off, if its on ebay, then its really not available for sale anyway. If I put a mic on this forum, you can claim it and have it in the mail tomorrow, at the price I had listed.
If I want to claw and fight with other people over a piece of gear for a week, I'll go hunting for it on ebay and hope I get what I want. If it pops up in the forums, it should have a set price or best offer and be available immediatly without going though the ebay trouble.
If its on ebay and thats what I'm looking for, I'll go to ebay and look for it.
Personally, I never ever post anything on ebay without posting it here first and giving everyone about a week to grab it up if they want it. I always kinda considered this place a bit of a brotherhood, and therefore I offer my goods, and quite often buy my goods, to or from someone here 1st at a fair price, and not in a race to see who can win something at the highest possible price. Sorry if you don't feel similarly about your peers. Ebay items do not belong here, they belong on ebay. If you are looking for highest price, then this is not your place. Hard to argue that.
