If you don't like this, you can all blame Chrisharris. He made me do it. :D

This is a collaboration between the Dachays and John Scott (aka Jagular). I posted this same song last week, and much of the feedback suggested (correctly I think) that the lead singer was not right for the song. I sincerely believe that we will not hear the same criticism of this version.

Unfortunately, that means all the negativity will all be directed at the BV's and the guitars. :( (But I can take it. :) )

I also made some other changes based on earlier feedback. I backed off on the reverb some - which means it should sound better everywhere except Acidrock's truck.

Enough preamble. What do you think, people?

It's only 1 minute long though?I just downloaded it because I couldnt stream it and all I have is 1:01....is that all you posted?

edit to add-I just saw waldos post.Maybe thats why I only got a minute of the song.I'll check it out tomorrow if there's s full version.What I heard sounded great.back up vocals and music is great.

I downloaded it, and it cut off at 2:13, so I haven't gotten to hear the solo yet, but what I heard sounds excellent.

I'll reiterate my earlier comments. All the pieces of this song were put together very very nicely the first time I heard it. But with all due respect to the first vocalist, this puts it on an entirely new level for me.

Great job to everyone involved....


Now where the F*(& is the rest of the song?

I was trying to play some tunes lo-fi earlier and it was'nt happening.
The first half verse sounds pretty good though,guess we'll have to wait a bit more.:(
 
OK we've ascertained the first 1:01 is OK.

Did anyone get to hear the whole song? (I did!).

Man this is frustrating, and I'm up way past my bedtime. :D

Hey guys. Since NWR is having trouble right now I posted another link to it from my web space. I will be switching it to a .txt file in the morning so I can dl it at work ;). But then I'll switch it back to an .mp3 file as soon as I dl it.

I can't think of anything I'd change. I really like the reverb fade on the end, and the solo sounds great.

Damned fine job, John...and you had some killer tracks to throw that vocal into.
