It's a hell of alot easier to setup up a reel to reel recording system then it is a daw, I've already done it with my friends 1" reel and it sounded excellent, sure they break down every 3 years or so but if their was still a market and parts being made it would be ten times easier then fuking with irq's drivers sample buffers et al
