That's a very appealing sound and arrangement. I like it a lot.

Reminds me a lot of what Tom Dolby did on 'Flat Earth'.

If you want to kick it up a couple notches, I'd suggest you give a listen to that record....listen to the way he used dynamics...automation, etc...to give more texture and interest. And, especially the way the guitarist just put it over the top.

That's my only nit. The soundscape is kind of flat.... but it's a piece of work, singing, phrasing, groove, that has big possibilities for sculpting into something much greater.

Good work!

This is sweet man. I like it a lot. The samples are extremely corny for the most part .. in a nice way that works with the music. You should give the vox more reverb. You have a sweet voice but i think reverb could make your vocals sit better with the instruments.

Good stuff!

Thanks! But what samples are you talking about?

Nice, catchy tune. Just nitpicking here, but I agree with Jeff that their could maybe be more dynamics. Also, the rhythm of the piano feels a bit too strict. Does your sequencer offer a humanize or quantize with swing or % level option?

I like the synth sounds you use in the background. It fits the style of the song. Your vocals are very tight too.

Well the piano is very kinda corny synth sound on that staccato style parts. Kinda sounds like a keyboards built in grand piano preset. I like the snare. There's a zapping noise after the first chorus. The high hats in the chorus are cheesy along with the gliding sine wave sounding thing.

I personally think they work great with the song. But in other contexts I don't think some of these would usually work. Again, your singing rocks haha. I love the song.:)

Thanks for clearing that up. Yes, I kind of wanted the thing to sound like an atari for some reason. I could have chosen better more real sounding samples, but I just liked the way those sounded. Corny is good sometimes. :D

This is your most electronic work yet, Adam.
Very classy and the comparison with Thomas Dolby fits well.
The songwriting's great as usual, as is the arrangement and your great voice. Another occasion to say "well done!"

Joey :):):):)

This reminds me the first record of a mexican band called Café Tacuva. Really nice.

This is a really cool song with really cool lyrics and I wish it had some other patches, too. The synthy stuff is lost on me. Like a ride at the carny, sorry.
What about some real instruments instead. You've got it in midi anyway, substitute an agitato string and see what happens, or maybe a sting harp.

Adam - you have a real great song here. I love the vocals and the musical backups. The lyrics are excellent! This is another Monster Mash!

Thanks though I don't know who that is. Thanks anyway!

I wanted it to sound like that. I could have made it sound more real, but I like the sound I got. I'm a big fan of nintendo music. That's kind of what I was going for. Thanks.

The song is cool & the arrangement/sounds suit it perfectly.
There are lots of things you could do but I don't see the need with this - it pop pizza with natchos - cheese where cheese belongs - a plenty of the right cheese please.
After all, you could have recorded the vox & then used ghostly 'cello patches playing long notes with the occasional metalaphone and a vibes line for backbone & that would have been corny spooky BUT what you've done works.
Play around with vox verb just to suss it out but as is I LIKE IT!

Nice arrangement. Good vocals. The sound effects are quirky, but fit the song. At 0:20 it sounds like the sound cuts out for a fraction of a second. Anyone else hear that? Great recording. I like it a lot.

Sounds great! Sort of reminds me of when I used to play super nintendo. :D
