What a surprise. We were playing around Sunday night with the vocal booth. I already had a Marshall V67G set up for vocals. Our lead guitar player started playing a tune in the control room. It really sounded great so I told him to go in the booth and I would record it. I didn't even move the mic. He sat in a chair with the mic about 3 feet above him and off axis. The sound was really fantastic. Full and airy (?) at the same time. Now I think any further acoustic treatment in the room will have to be removeable so I can still get this great acoustic sound. Sometimes accidents are good.
