I recorded . My rate is $28.00 per hour. There name is "Doubletake". I'd like opinions of quality please! It's odd that even at $28.00 per hour people are still not banging my door down. Its real drums, gtrs etc.

Well it is kind of hard with the mp3 quality, but I think it sounds good.

sounds good man, if I lived there and needed studio time, I'd be knockin for $28 hour. maybe try a different mp3 encoder though, you're getting alot of artifacts.

artifacs?

Hum? Like what? Sounded ok at my computer. Let me know.I used Music Match. Thanks

Sounds pretty good, if I had to get picky, I'd say the snare is a tad thin, and the bass guitar sounds like its got a sh*tload of reverb, real muddy or something (in the beginning solo it isn't a problem, but it sounds kinda pooey throughout the song). Overall sounds real nice though, good job.

How did you record the guitar? ...Very nice sound.

listen to the hi's for a garbling sound. it's not on all the songs posted.

I only posted one song . The one by Doubletake. You must be listening to someone elses? The guitar was mic'd close w/sm57 off axis between cone and speaker, also room mic 4' away with a KSM27. Both ran through Telefunken V72a preamps and 2 1176 compressors.
