nice beats?

what products would you people advise to me that would allow me to create bangin beats and sounds that would'nt give me some hot boys wack timbaland beats, i'm lookin for maybe a drum machine, keyboard, or whatever it is i need, i gots a sampler and the the technics twelve-hundo's, what should i get for mixer, station......etc.........???????

up in new york you can get mpc2000xl's kinda cheap...about $500-1000.

cop yourself:

Akai Mpc2000XL and a nice keyboard...korg trition,roland fantom,yamaha motif...these are all good synth/keyboards but they are gonn run you 1700-3500
 
you got a sampler 'aight? buy some percussion sample cds and use a sequencer. Ain't nutn to it... what sampler have you got?
 
You should grab some sample cds. Then practice ... practice ... practice ... practice .... your beat arrangements. :D
 
i say : sample sounds from 'em good ol' 1200's and buy some percussion sets.. you'll soon outgrow the boss plastic box (i hope, or you have no future :D ) but you'll allways have the samples.. learn to use use them timings and the chop function.
if you use more than 8 samples for a beat anyway, then it's prolly too messy to be good :)
