Flypaper for freaks
Hi all.
I am planning for my next mic purchase. My studio records everything except drums, mainly, guitars (acoustic and electric), bass, vocals, sax and trumpet. I haven't yet recorded a bone
In general I record pop, rock, r&b, jazz, blues, that sort of thing.
My current modest mic locker includes
AEA R84
Microtech Gefell UMT 71S
Studio Projects T3
AKB C535EB
PPA large diaphram, cardiod condenser mic.
For pres I have an A Designs MP2, and Grace 101, and my Tascam DM24, whose pres I generally don't use.
Feel free to recomment a preamp with the mic if you believe they go together. I am thinking of a Great River4 or a Hamptone as my next pre.
