Newspaper interview!

Well the story finally ran in the local newspaper about my studio! I scanned it into my computer and uploaded it for everyone here to see.

The big white box with nothing in is was an ad for a bank.

I can't believe it finally ran! The guy came to interview me the first week of August.

Well, yeah actually it must have been. haha. The guy said they were waiting for things to settle down. Hey, I'm totally aware it's complete fluff. But it's cool. :)
 
yup, it's always great to become a local celebrity and be immortalized in a local newspaper article. especially for something as cool as this. congratulations.
 
Yeah man, it had lots of peaks and valleys like a good action movie.

Anyone notice the Ren and Stimpy dolls by the way? :) And the cock monster? haha.

If the story took 6 years to run I'd think the people running that place have some problems haha. Hopefully they're more organized than me. It did take 4 months to run though.
 
ive been noticing the ren and stimpy dolls for so long...months.

THey r so normal to me that I just thought "Hmm...nice window."

Where in Wisconsin are you? Don't worry about me being competition, I'm not really looking to use the studio as a business. If I record bands it will be bands that I feel like recording because I like them, not like Randy's or Sleepless, where any band can schedule time.

As of right now I'm using a Layla 20, which is pretty old but all I can afford. For recording guitar I'm using a POD 2.0. Bass I'm using a bass POD. I've got a few condenser mics for recording drums. I do all the effects in the computer.
 
I was Once in my Local paper, I probably shouldnt post the article for legal reasons. :D Nice one man. I did really enjoy those videos on You Tube. Are they all finished now?
 
So, were you in the newspaper for bad reasons?

The studio is just about done. I'm probably just going to do one more episode to the whole thing. The making of the studio was the construction phase, not the finish work phase like making bass traps. If I wait for that stuff to get done it'll be another year before I can put out a DVD of the project.
