Solved Newby questions D80 connections

just purchased a second D80 to go with my tascam m2600 24 track desk. so far all connections with desk are ok. My d80's are racked above each other, 100mm apart. How do I connect one to the other, and how would I connect data output to my PC (USB??) :
Is it possible to obtain "Optical Cable and Male/Female connectors seperately to enable me to make up my own leads??
I would appreciate some help please :rolleyes

Well I would say, first you would connect the Midi out to Midi In and Optical out to optical in. And make sure the frame rate is at 30nd and the rest is easy just refer to your manual or check fostex website), There is a USB to SPDIF/OPTICAL adapter but it only carries a Stereo channel, unless you want to spend a chunk of money ($500-700 for USB to ADAT I/O carries all 8 channels) I would recommend on getting a soundcard if you are considering that price range.
