I intend on getting some better equipment but for now I'm using the basics and have a couple unusual problems
First I am comfortable with computer hardware, settings, and preferences but this has me stumped.
So far I have a working sound card. Mic input is fine I did some recording to windows sound recorder as well as Kristal Sound Engine. No problems.
What I would like to do is run direct from my Yamaha DG-Stomp to the line in on the sound card, only problem....line in seems dead when running from the
DG-Stomp output. If I output from the headphone jack I get a signal but the volume is so low as to be unusable.
I tried a different sound card and cables but same result.
I also tried running form the line out on a guitar amp to line line...no signal either.
I confirmed that line in is selected in recording preferences, and everywhere else i could find.
Any ideas?
