I've been making beats for about a year now. Started out with just Acid 3.0, then moved up to Pro 4 and Reason. I think I've made some decent beats, but I am looking to go further than that. I figure the best way is to keep learning by networking and understanding other people's vibes.

Takeover-I liked it---good bed to do vocals over-kind of edgy and dissonant with the music samples you used. Theres a percussion sound that happens every other measure that I didn't care for--like a super high pitch tom sound or something..I think it need a bass line to have that 1 more layer to make it more interesting-more movement..But hard to say without any vocals. Good job.
 
Takeover....My biggest complaint is..learn the value of the "pan" man. This stuff "begs" to be moved around in the aural spectrum. I'd bring up the synth parts. The kick drum sound bothered me...it had a "poink" to it. Very annoying. Cool beat tho man. I dug it. Somebody please give me some bass!

what's going on with the drums in cruise? They sound very lo-fi in comparison to everything else. it's a cool sounding tune but would sound much better if those drums were crisper
 
Just peepin some of your beats. Kinda got a dark sound to most of em, but thats cool. I liked mobbin, me and my guy got that same guitar sample and we made a beat out it. I'll post it sometime.

I agree with the above statments. But one thing I have started doing is trying to put more variation into my beats, I think some of ur beats would sound dope if you did the same. I'm not sayin all ur beats should have it, or that some dont already sound dope, but I think it would help bring more appeal to certain ones.

I dug it, different sound. I'm definitely looking for variation, but I don't use much to make them (Acid 4). I figure once I get some decent equipment I can actually make all my stuff from scratch. For now it's samples and loops

I dont think it is really ground breaking stuff, might sound better if you pay more attention to getting the kik and bass sound just right. It needs loads of bass and a DEEp kik drum sound. I think there is too much hip hop at the moment , but i suppose you probably think that about rock music! just difference of opinions i suppose.
