Hello,
This is my first post. I have a question regarding my guitar rig/ midi / software interfacing to achive a specific goal. When I change to a preset on my guitar rig, I want a pc to display a picture (jpeg) of the amp that i am using. That way when people see me play live, they come up and ask, "what amp models are you using?"
So, if i have a presest made within the AX FX 2 with a Marshall JCM 800 head, I use the midi foot controller (mcf101) to change the presest on my AX FX 2, then a midi command can be sent out of the AX FX's midi out via M-Audio Uno midi to usb converter to a Computer/laptop, ( this is where it gets hazy for me) into a software program that i can utilize a pre-saved selection of jpegs for each midi preset to "point" to a jpeg file either it be a folder, database or just a simple program. Then I will have an LED computer screen sitting on top of my 4x12 guitar cabinet to simulate as if a "real" amp is sitting on my cabinet.
I do MIDIOX software for monitoring midi events, ( can alsoI just need the little extra push to find the right software interace to achieve my goal
