Just got and installed an E-MU 0404. What a huge, beautiful step up from my old crappy came-with-the-computer generic soundcard - so quiet! Everything works great so far except that now I'm no longer getting any audio from Windows (i.e from within my computer). I tried to create a new Mixer Strip for that audio signal but the Windows Source option is greyed out under the Host Source section. I don't know much about troubleshooting the uninstallation/installation of soundcards, I basically just know enough to pull one out and plug the other in. When I removed the old card there was 1 small internal cable connected to a port on it that there now isn't a port for on the 0404. I'm presuming that that is the problem but a)I'm really not sure and b)I have no idea how to even begin connecting it to the 0404 to find out because there is no compatible port on the 0404.
