Newbie Computer/soundcard ?

Have been using a Yamaha Aw4416 for the last year or so but just purchased a copy of Propellerheads Reason so I can dabble with soft synths,redrum, etc.My current computer is an Amd K6-400hx with 196 ram and 10 gb Hd,I am needing a decent soundcard with Midi(or midi interface)Seem like the Maudio 24/96 is the best bet...any problems with this card and my Amd?(I dont think the echo mia which i was considering is compatible with the Amd K6).

I will mainly be dumping the audio from Reason to my Aw,so i really dont need a lot of inputs/outputs (I think)and would like to not have to upgrade computer unless necesssary.

win2k drivers

You might want to check out some of the other threads on this site. There appear to be some issues if you are using a Delta product made by midiman (which includes the Audiophile) and Windows 2k drivers. Are you using windows 2k? If so, check out the thread about delta and Win2k drivers.
