I just got into turntables about a month ago, I spent a almost 1500 bucks on a new setup, I got 2 gemini pt-2100 turntables, a gemini pmx140 mixer, 2 stanton 500al cartridges, With a carring case, and mic and headphones too for 799, and a nice speaker pack, for 400 bucks, i was wondering about what else should i get, how to set up recording, what place is the best for racking vinals, and what-not. please give me some pionters, I want to start playing gigs and stuff and recoring some music, by the way, how can you get your mixes on a cd?

First, honestly, I think you should return all of the equipment you purchased (if you can). :(

I know... hind sight is the best sight, but if you are going to do the turntablist thing, you are going to need the correct tools.

These items are industry standard.

Technic 1200's MKII, MKIII, O3D or 1210's depending on the country you are buying them from.

Vestax, Rane, or Technics mixer.

There are a ton of websites that you can purchase v-i-n-y-l from, I'll post them for you later.

When it comes to recording and editing, it will depend on your computers specifications and your budget (post us back with some more info).

peace...
