:Yo TMay or not TMay:]

If you have ever played a tape or disc and heard some horn on the left speaker and a chime on the right speaker and the voice coming out of both speakers, you are, basically listening to stereo.

Left side/right side and what balances are you after.

You can buy a stereo mic, RODE just came out with one with two neat little speaker like appendages at the top of the mic.

If you have a recorder with a mixer, you can get semi stereo sound by moving your drums to the left or right, and toying with other instruments, like bass, guitar, etc.

If you have a stereo system at home, you can hear stuff in stereo.

If you have 4 mics on drums going to different tracks, you have a form of stereo. Easy to get more information here or on the net to explain in more detail if that's what you want.

Hark: TMay or not to be:

I am not familiar with your gear but I think you would need to run at least two mics into two recording tracks and then you would be able to do the left/right number with your gear. Voila!!!! Stereo.
