Newb Question (?) . . .

Yea, so I'm a converted Cool Edit Pro guy, now that N-Tracks has decided that it doesn't like Windows XP (at least my version of it, that is).

I feel like a newb all over again.

So far, I'm liking CEP well enough. Except it's a pain in the ass when you're used to Sonic Foundry stuff -- I like the option of hitting the up and down arrows to zoom in and out on stuff. It seems kind of quarky right now, but that's probably because I'm not totally used to it.

Anyway, on to my question: Does this puppy have punch in / out? If so, how do I set the punch "points" ?

Yes
In mulitrack mode, highlight the part of the wave that you want to punch.

Then go to Edit > punch in

Just click record and it will record the part you highlighted

That's it
