Hey, my name is Arvo and I self-yahooed and found a TV show in Australia called the Big Arvo and someone told me arvo means afternoon there. Is it true?

"What are you doing this arvo" = "what are you doing this afternoon"
It's a crappy kids TV show with annoying hosts and mediocre content.

Strange coming from the land of The Wiggles, who made $10,000,000 last year with their high quality kids fare.

Wow, that would be a confusing place for me to live. I rarely hear my name used in any context besides me.

It gets annoying for me because my dad, brothers and I all get called by our last name by our friends. Confusing when we are all in the same place....

Did you really need to test? I mean honestly.... there aren't too many ways to post a thread plus the fact that you see other people's posts are being displayed wouldn't that lead you to beleive that the site was up-and-running????????

There are less than 25 people in the whole world with my last name and we are very spread out so even that isn't heard often.

Hey, does anybody know what it takes to pass this test? And what does it have to do with Computer Recording and Soundcards?

You expressed that so much more eloquently than I could ;) I know we all love ol' Blue Bear but his talent for making a problem worse is awesome to behold :)

Edited to say - Oh shit, I just noticed that was my post no 666. I've blown it now, I can hear the wings flapping :eek: . I wasn't slagging him off, honest, just a bit of gentle fun. Only 5 hours 'til dawn.....
